1. What this covers
This policy explains what information B2B.ng collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses the B2B.ng marketplace.
2. Information we collect
Business details (company name, registration, address, category), contact details, the documents you upload for verification and compliance, listings and messages you create, and technical data such as device and usage information needed to run and secure the service.
3. Identity through auth.ng
You sign in through auth.ng, our central identity system. Your core identity and verification live there; B2B.ng reads the result (verified status, KYC level) rather than storing your raw identity credentials.
4. How we use your information
To verify businesses, operate the marketplace, connect buyers and suppliers, process quotes and protected payments, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Documents and secure storage
Compliance documents (such as CAC or tax records) are stored in secure, access-controlled storage and are shared only through short-lived, permissioned links. They are not made public.
6. When information is shared
Business profile information you choose to publish is visible to other businesses so deals can happen. Counterparties in a deal see what they need to transact. We share with service providers who help run the platform under confidentiality, and where the law requires.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a small amount of analytics to understand and improve usage. We do not run invasive third-party ad tracking.
8. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax and dispute-resolution obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
9. Your rights
You can access and correct your information from your dashboard, and request deletion of your account. Some records may be retained where the law requires.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your login safe and report anything suspicious.
11. Children
B2B.ng is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
12. Changes and contact
